Carmo, Hit the Road

Carmo would rather die than spend another day in the hellhole on the Brazil/Paraguay border where she lives. Marco is a lonesome, wheelchair-bound Spanish guy turned small-time criminal who is driving alone through Brazil. He has just arrived in town and desperately needs someone to help him unload a shipment of smuggled goods. When two bandits assault him and steal his load, he is miraculously saved by Carmo. It's the start of a lawless, reckless journey of self-discovery through a jagged, breathtaking South American landscape.
