Candyman

Helen Lyle (Virginia Madsen), a graduate student skeptical of superstition, becomes intrigued by the legend of Candyman, a vengeful slave spirit with a hook hand rumored to haunt a notorious housing project. Driven by the desire to debunk the myth for her thesis, she visits the site of a horrific murder and summons him by repeating his name five times. Her disbelief turns to terror as Candyman materializes, unleashing a wave of brutal killings that spiral out of control.
