Info
When cannabis becomes legal in Canada, boutique weed dealer Anne Banting swiftly runs out of options to pay the bills. Her 'loyal' customers are now buying from the government regulated weed shops, and her friends struggle to sympathize for the weed dealing life she's cultivated for herself. Trying to navigate the new world of legalized cannabis, Anne Banting finds herself navigating the dark world of narcotics, and after that doesn't work out, gets a job at a government cannabis retail store. Before we know it the government has decided against retail leaving Anne broke, homeless and hopeless. Anne must grapple with the sober reality that the world continues to move on, and she must learn how to move on with it.
