Bobby Kent died on July 14, 1993. As he lay bleeding, he called out for help, and then mercy from his best friend, Marty Puccio. Marty's response was quick and deliberate. He gutted his friend and then sliced his neck. The incident would leave a community stunned, parents nonplussed and heartbroken and a group of defendants convicted of a brutal crime for which they never repented.
