Set in the dynamic yet tough environment of Brooklyn's urban landscape, the story centers on Elaine, a lively young Latina brought to life by Nathalia Lares and Summer Rose Castillo. Inspired by the real-life experiences of its writer-director, it traces Elaine's emotional path through the trials of adolescence. Her world is shaken by an unforeseen disruption stemming from her father, Manny (Javier Muñoz), an aspiring salsa musician whose personal challenges pull him away from his family, leaving Elaine to navigate the complexities of her formative years amidst a backdrop of vibrant neighborhood life.
