Boost

Jimmy, a car thief from Detroit, comes out to L.A. to "start fresh." At least that's what he tells his step brother Clyde, an LAPD officer, when he first arrives. But it's obvious from the start that he hasn't changed his ways at all, only his locale. So when Jimmy gets hired by Roy, a slimy Mexican gangster who owns an auto shop, to steal a certain car on a certain day for big money, he inevitably breaks all his own rules.
