Movie
A couple travels to Mexico to explore a potential site for expanding their furniture manufacturing business. On their journey back to the United States, they accidentally strike a police officer with their car. Aware that reporting the incident could lead to imprisonment in Mexico under a system where guilt is presumed, they choose to conceal the accident by cleaning their vehicle and returning home quietly. Days later, a persistent stranger appears at their doorstep, seeking employment while subtly hinting at having witnessed something in Mexico he might be compelled to disclose. Faced with this veiled threat, the couple grapples with the moral and practical limits of how much they are willing to endure under the pressure of blackmail.
