Beauty in Trouble

A film loosely based on the poem of the same name by Robert Graves. Marcela leaves her husband Jarda and takes her kids to live with her mother and stepfather. But his intolerance and psychological pressure only make things worse. Then she meets Evzen, one of Jarda's childhood friends, an oversensitive loner who emigrated and became a well-balanced and resolute man. He is a successful architect who only returns to the Czech Republic to sell some property he got back in the restitution process. Evzen offers Marcela a new lease on life. And thus Marcela finds herself faced with a great internal dilemma,fighting the same battle as the "beauty in trouble" of Graves's poem....
