Beautiful Memories

Claire is a shy, slightly frumpy woman in her early 30s who has been forgetting things ever since being struck by lightning while walking in the woods. Claire worries that her real problem may be Alzheimer's, which recently claimed the life of her mother. She checks into the memory-loss clinic of quirky Dr. Christian (Le Coq), who is having a not-so-secret affair with one of his assistants (played by director Breitman). When Claire becomes involved with fellow patient Philippe (Bernard Campan), a wine expert who lost his memory in a tragic car accident, the relationship seems to have a positive effect on both.
