Baptism

In December 1981, Marianna, in an effort to reconcile her long-feuding children, seizes the opportunity of a family celebration -- the baptism of her newest grandson. However, her plans are unexpectedly disrupted when General Jaruzelski declares martial law on that very day. Undeterred in her resolve to bring her family together, Marianna makes the decision to shield her children from the harsh reality of the country's situation. What may seem like a minor deception sets in motion a chain of unforeseen events that become increasingly challenging to control.
