Autumn and the Black Jaguar

Growing up in the Amazon rainforest, Autumn forged a rare friendship with a lost baby jaguar she named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope behind for the unknown of New York, she has been dreaming for years of returning to the tropical forest and her beloved friend. At the age of 14, having adapted to urban life, Autumn discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers and decides that she must go back to the Amazon to reunite with her cherished jaguar.

Anja, Autumn's endearingly clumsy biology teacher, tries in vain to dissuade her from this daring project. Accompanied by Anja, Autumn embarks on a journey to find Hope and save her from those seeking to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
