Philippe Lemesle and his wife are separating; their relationship has been damaged by work pressure. A high-performing manager in an industrial group, Philippe can no longer cope with his company's contradictory demands. Yesterday they wanted him as a leader, today they want him as a mere executor. He has reached the point where he must decide what direction his life should take.
