Aloïse

A fictionalized biopic of an artistically talented woman confined, at the onset of WWI, to an asylum for the rest of her life, who created a world for herself through art, Aloïse has a strange mix of austerity, lyricism, and naturalism and a bisected structure that mirrors the subject's schizophrenia.
