This western, based on a true story, recalls Almighty Voice's tragic confrontation with the North-West Mounted Police which resulted in the last battle between Whites and Natives in North America. Almighty Voice, a Cree Indian, was arrested for illegally butchering a government cow, in 1895. Fearing for his own life, Almighty Voice shot and killed a Mountie chasing him and a relentless manhunt ensued ending in a tragic blood bath.
