Aisha Azzam and her husband established their family grain mill in the Baqa'a refugee camp in Jordan 35 years ago. She values her role in preserving culture by milling wheat and herbs essential to Palestinian cuisine and imparting her knowledge to future generations. The film explores the themes of displacement and community rebuilding in a refugee camp, using food as a narrative device. Activities such as harvesting, milling, cooking, and communal feasting illustrate the experiences of displacement, longing, and resistance. As Aisha states, "Food is what keeps us together as Palestinians."
