The story of Alwyn Uys, a born Springbok rugby player, who was left paralyzed from the waist down after breaking his back in a car accident. Alwyn was never going to let that stop him and in 2019 he became the first South African paraplegic athlete to complete a half-Ironman in under 7-hours and on 13 December 2020 he became the first paraplegic to ever swim from Robben Island to Eden on the Bay (Western Cape, South Africa). This documentary showcases how Alwyn overcame the odds to become an inspiration to thousands.
