Mary (Olesya Rulin) is a pregnant teen on the run from her unsupportive mother (Cybill Shepard). Hitchhiking to Los Angeles to see her rock star father (Gene Simmons), Mary doesn't have anyone to help her except the eccentric characters she meets along the way -- a polka-loving truck driver (Elliot Gould), a gun-toting pig lady (Cloris Leachman) and a caring showgirl named Darnella. But when Mary finally makes it to LA, her dad isn't prepared for the news. What happens to Mary and Christmas?
