A Private Life

Dr. Lilian Steiner (Jodie Foster), an American psychoanalyst based in Paris, finds her carefully structured life starting to crumble following the unexpected death of a patient. Amidst personal family struggles and professional challenges, she becomes consumed by the need to uncover the truth behind what was initially deemed a suicide.
