A Life in Tandem

After his incurable stage 4 cancer diagnosis at 24 and the tragic climbing accident death of his brother John during chemotherapy, Luke embarks on a 20,000-mile tandem bike journey from Bristol to Beijing. Cycling through freezing Ukraine, he meets vigilante pastor Gennadiy in Mariupol, who inspires him to share his CanLiver message worldwide. Joined by his stoical mother Jenny across Georgia, Luke rebuilds their strained family bonds amid deep tensions from loss. Accompanied by fellow CanLivers like Indian schoolboy Dev, whose devoted mother sacrificed everything, Luke rediscovers joy and purpose, facing scan uncertainties en route to an unexpected turn in Beijing.
