This is a must-see film for all new mothers out there. It's both funny and touching - I found myself laughing wholeheartedly at times and crying at others. The movie portrays motherhood in a realistic way, not like those American-style films. Watching it will make you feel more human and put a smile on your face, because that's what life is all about. Definitely worth checking out!

Barbara and Nicolas have been a couple for a while. They live in Paris, enjoying the life of childless singles, until Barbara unexpectedly gets pregnant. Her pregnancy turns her emotional, sexual, and family life upside down. The couple, as well as Barbara's mother, who is the most level-headed character, deliver outstanding performances. The film offers a poignant portrayal of a mother who prioritizes her relationship with her daughter above all else, at the expense of their overall well-being.

Great entertainment. This highly realistic film about pregnancy will make you smile at times and cry at others... However, I felt that it dragged on a bit towards the end. The lead actress does an amazing job! Watch it with your partner - it might spark some interesting conversations! ;)

There were only two of us in the theater for the screening. It seems that people aren't interested in movies that simply talk about life. I heard that people are going to see "The Hunger Games" or "Bossé" instead. What a shame. They're missing out on something really good, with an actress who delivers a strong performance. And then there are all those little things we call life that just happen and that we can relate to. Of course, expecting mothers should definitely go see this film.

This is a beautiful, moving, authentic and human film - quintessentially French. The lead actress, Louise Bourgoin, is absolutely stunning in her portrayal of a mother teetering between joy and depression. The film is so realistic and immersive that you can't help but be deeply affected by the events that shake the couple's life. It's a well-written and masterfully directed film. Kudos twice to the director, Rémi Besanzon, for this powerful, gut-punch of a film that honestly depicts the realities of a supposedly happy pregnancy.

I absolutely loved this movie - it made me smile, laugh out loud, reminisce, and even shed a few tears thinking back on my own experiences with motherhood from over 25 years ago. This film is beautiful in every sense of the word. Bravo on this little masterpiece!

I thoroughly enjoyed this film! The acting is top-notch and the cinematography is excellent. It takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, with a surprising amount of humor mixed in. I highly recommend this thought-provoking film that explores the realities of motherhood and the transformation women experience.

A dramedy about the "joys" of motherhood. Louise Bourgoin delivers a strong performance as a mother struggling with post-partum depression, though at times you just want to shake some sense into her as she teeters on the edge. It's a treat to see Gabrielle Lazure play the delightfully irritating mother-in-law. Sinclair provides a solid soundtrack. However, the film felt quite long to me, and I really disliked the ending.

This movie is both touching and humorous. It portrays the challenges of motherhood and childbirth in a realistic way, thanks to the convincing performances by the actors.

I enjoyed this film for its simplicity, believability, and talented actors. At times very moving, the screenplay takes us through a range of emotions. And what can I say about the lovely leading lady, formerly known as Adèle Blanc-Sec... If in another life I possessed an incredible talent, like that of a painter or sculptor, and if during a flash of inspiration I decided to create a masterpiece depicting what I consider the ultimate beauty, I think my creation would resemble Louise Bourgoin. To me, she embodies the pinnacle of perfection.

Watching a film about the progression of a pregnancy seemed mundane, but the reality depicted in a candid and clever manner was highly entertaining. We laughed a lot.
