Belfast, 1971: After a riot breaks out on the Falls Road front -- a staunchly Republican stronghold, rife with both IRA and splinter group "paras" -- Derbyshire lad Pvt. Gary Hook (Jack O'Connell), already far from home, finds himself trapped behind the lines. Stealing from home to home in the war-torn city, just one step ahead of the IRA men who want his hide, Hook must make the perilous journey through the Dantean, dystopian city as day turns to night.
