Abby Barnes should have it all. She's a veterinarian and successful host of her own radio talk show where she comically dispenses useful advice to befuddled pet owners. Abby's smart, funny, and plays a mean violin. But she's not tall and blond -- and routinely gets overlooked when it comes to romance. Her best friend, Noelle Slusarsky, on the other hand, is tall and blonde. She's also kind, generous, and a little lost. Her career as a model isn't all that satisfying and her relationships with men leave something to be desired. Enter Brian, a photographer who finds himself on the wrong end of a roller skating Great Dane. He turns to radio host Abby for help, and he's charmed when she solves his snarling problem with a dose of common sense combined with disarming humor and grace. Grateful for her help, Brian invites Abby to meet him so he can thank her in person. Abby nearly agrees, until he utters those dreaded five words -- "What do you look like?"
