Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

    Reviewed by pinch_man@

I was disappointed once again... The movie evoked no emotion in me, not even fear or anxiety during pivotal scenes. The Jedi come across as overly pretentious. Obi-wan seemed perplexed that he couldn't defeat Boba Fett's father more swiftly. They converse with each other in a haughty and self-important manner. The saga has lost its enigmatic allure and magic since the first episode. All that remains is the action... sure, it's there, but it feels hollow. I find this film pales in comparison to The Lord of the Rings. On a side note, I'm still a die-hard "fan" of the original Star Wars... I even own the complete collection of miniature starships and all the action figures... Nonetheless, this is just my opinion, and I'm glad for those who enjoyed it... I really wish I could have loved it too... sniff...
