I had heard about the book (though I hadn't read it) before seeing the movie. General Dallaire's comments on "Tout le monde en parle" convinced me to go watch it. Having already seen "Hotel Rwanda" and "A Sunday in Kigali", I expected a tough film, but the new perspective on the conflict and the imagery made it even more harrowing than I anticipated. Sensitive viewers should approach with caution. It's worth noting that I saw the French version, and I have to say Roy Dupuis' voice syncing (he dubs himself) is rather mediocre, which is why I'm knocking off a point and not giving it a perfect 10/10 score.
