RED, WHITE, BLACK and BLUE ODYSSEY chronicles the ICEF Rugby Program in South Los Angeles, as head coach and founder Stuart Krohn brings the sport of rugby to Inner City high school boys and girls, taking them around the world to compete against international teams. Stuart Krohn founded the ICEF Rugby program in 2003 with hopes of teaching a new generation of youth about a game that had given him so much throughout his lifetime. While the teenagers hone their rugby skills on their school's concrete parking lot in South Los Angeles, every year Stuart provides an invaluable experience for these kids, raising funds to take them on an epic journey around the world to different international cities, where they live with local families and play matches against other kids their age. In their first year, Stuart took the team to New Zealand, the home of the world renown All Blacks, where the kids got to learn all about the Maori culture. In year two, the team went to China where they visited the Great Wall and played against Olympic Development caliber teams. For their third trip, the team traveled to England and France to get a taste of what it was like to play in the country where the sport originated. Throughout the course of the film, these exceptional youth band together to overcome not only adversities on the field, but tremendous challenges in their own lives, learning life lessons while forming friendships and bonds that are sure to last a lifetime.
