I absolutely adored this film. I'm a fan of movies set during World War II and biopics. But at its core, it's a story about the bond between a mother and son. The mother is both domineering and inspiring. Her strong personality grated on my nerves at times. The costumes are stunning, the cinematography is breathtaking, and the performances are top-notch. Some viewers might be put off by the occasional nude scenes. It's a thought-provoking movie that sparks interesting conversations. It lingers in your mind and prompts discussions long after the credits roll.
