The title is poignant. It reminds me of Kramer after he'd been on a smoking bender and he uttered the words "look away, I'm hideous". it's a fine line between greatness and failure and this movie came damn close to being a ten but dropped the ball in the final act. Never mind the two lead actresses are in their mid 20s and never mind going to prom and then going to school the next day... like wtf? What bizarro world do they live in? The movie starts out great with India Eisley being a bullied senior in grade 12, which is a stretch considering her parents are loaded and she's gorgeous but hey if the gorgeous Chloe Moretz can play bullied as Carrie White what evs right? India slowly begins to start seeing her reflection as her evil twin who we assume died at birth or perhaps she's just manifesting a stronger version of herself. India is jealous of her lone friend who has a nice car and a nice boyfriend. India also has two loving if not overly supportive parents but as she allows her evil side to take over this is where the movie falls apart. India seeks revenge not only on her bully but for some profoundly dumb reason on the few people who love and care about her. There was so much great potential to this movie as it was provocative and sexy and dark and disturbing at times but the ending ruined all that was great about it. I think in time it will be a cult classic but for now its just a missed opportunity... sadly because it was damn close to greatness.

Frankly, I didn't even fully understand the premise of this pretty odious horror film from NETFLIX which does some pretty amazing things but makes just as many REALLY, REALLY BAD MOVIES of which this is one. Everything was so absurd with the young girl becoming too much of an enigma to tolerate especially as the film had no redeeming quality whatever.

The one person I thought about in this film was the brilliant MIRA SORVINO who won an OSCAR for MIGHTY APHRODITE and would be going on to becoming the next superstar in the late 80's. That's when HARVEY WEINSTEIN stepped in. ONCE she refused his advances, he made sure she was never hired again for any truly big or important film. WEINSTEIN deserves the death penalty for all the female lives he destroyed in a close to 40 year span.

And so Mira Sorvino is subjugated to making this sort of utter and complete drivel. Her time for superstardom has long passed
but what prevented a brilliant career ( HARVEY WEINSTEIN ) will never be forgotten.

Horrible movie, no jump scares, really weak plot and the girl was like a doll, couldn't act a lick, avoid people!
