    It would seem that a lot of Hollywood A-listers turned to the western genre during the latter part of the 1940's into the 1950's and they would include stars like Miss Greer Garson, Claudette Colbert and Barbara Stanwyk, Ray Milland and Irishman Barry Fitzgearald in this 1947 oater with good production values, an authentic atmospheric look and sound directing from John Farrow, the father of Mia. But in the end, it all seems like just another slice of episodic history of the Old West.
