Stanley Kramer's slightly unusual film to what we are generally accustomed is not, however, a letdown. I first saw the film as a teenager at the old Bloor theatre and it has had lasting memories for me. I've seen it again recently and have wondered why one rarely gets it on the tele, cable or a movie provider. It's an impressive film. Though children would benefit a great deal from seeing such a humane film, it can and should be seen by all!

For children, this is a great movie to teach compassion and understanding from the eyes of another. I saw this when I was five and have never forgotten it. In fact, the memory is what brought me here looking for it.
